Good but not a place i would spend my vacation at

A great pool!

Staff who checked me in was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was mostly clean (though there was a small blood stain on my mattress pad?) and reasonably priced.

- Breakfast required a meal ticket (my first time experiencing this in a hotel!) and I was only given one though I had a two-night reservation. When I went to the front desk to ask where breakfast was being served the front-desk person asked my room number, then corrected me when I misremembered it, THEN asked if I had a meal ticket…like I had walked in off the street in flip-flops and sweat pants to scam a bagel?? Then the directions she gave were confusing/unhelpful. - The room smelled unpleasantly of cleaning chemicals. - Nothing current staff could do about this but the HVAC unit was in an odd place in the room. It was also very loud and did not seem to work very well so I suspect it needs to be serviced/replaced.

Right off the highway

I was asked if I had a pet. I said no. Booking said I had a pet. So they moved me to the second floor. Just outside the walkway is a very, very large fake grass pee area for animals. It stunk bad!

The breakfast was awesome.

I had requested a downstairs room. Didn't get one. At 10 pm, had to call office and request a room change as the air conditioner wasn't working in our room #239. Office changed us to room #242 and it was good.

The a/c was broke the room never got below 75. It was hot and no ine was able to sleep

The staff was very nice.

Pros: The room was spacious: two beds and a desk area with an outside door, a couch and TV area with an outside door, a spacious closet area, but a tiny bathroom. I liked that the floors were not carpeted. Beds were adequately comfortable. Parking was spacious enough to accommodate the 20ft camper we were pulling. Cons: The room smelled. How a room smells really makes a difference and this room had a noticeably bad smell. The bottom of the shower was brown, dirty, and had hair. I was also disappointed to see hair and other debris under the sheets on the bed. The price of the room was high for the quality we received. If the rate was lower (definitely should be under 100$), then I would not be as disappointed. There was apparently an indoor pool, but we did not have time to check it out. Breakfast was waffles, eggs, and sausage that we didn't try. You had to have a ticket from the front desk in order to even enter the breakfast area, which tells me a lot about their issues with security. There was a lot of people walking around the area, which honestly did make me a little nervous with children. With the rate being so high, we will probably stay elsewhere the next time we are in the area.

Staff was very kind, much appreciated. Room smelled very bad.
