Was not aware pub closed early Monday/ Tuesday at 6pm no food available.

Heerlijk eten in de Pub. Perfecte locatie in mooi dorp in het zuiden van North York Moors National Park. Mooie ruime kamer met keukentje en terras. En zo leuk dat de schapen gewoon rond lopen in het dorp en ook gewoon in de avond het parkeerterein van The Crown op komen lopen.

Niks viel tegen al was de vloer niet overal schoon en het terras zou wat mooier aangekleed kunnen worden door wat bloemen te laten groeien tegen de stenen muur. Maar we hebben een prima vakantie gehad hier en komen graag nog een keer terug.

Super clean and comfortable. Really friendly family welcome. We loved it as a great night stopover on a walking tour of the North York Moors. Might have to come back for a longer visit. Food in the bar is superb too!

Nothing it was all fabulous

It was our second time here and it won’t be the last. Beautiful rooms decorated to a high standard. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Outstanding area . Everything you could possibly need.

Lovely bolthole for a couple of nights. Super comfy large bed. Some cooking facilities and a good selection of breakfast items..loaf, butter, cereal, milk, orange juice, tea and coffee. Great powerful shower. Very quiet evenings and dark sky village so remember to look up! Hereford sheep in village are hilarious. Don't be surprised if they visit the pub!

TV signal is not stable in village. Limited digital TV and WiFi patchy. No phone signal either. Just be aware if this bothers you.
