The location of the property was ideal, and the layout of the house was lovely. There was a Christmas tree too.

The up keep! Horrendous springs in the sofa. And an arm coming off another. Our bedroom door was coming off the hinges, blocked sink in the on-suite and a drains smell on occasions. Rusty bathroom toilet/towel holders. Generally needed some maintenance.

Location is perfect if arriving by train. Close to the shops etc . Smart Tv with You Tube etc . Good kitchen facilities. Comfortable living room & bedrooms. Heating was good even in the very cold weather.

Definitely a grab handle is needed in the shower. Can be tricky getting in/out of it . That's about it .

The accommodation is in a fantastic location. You are a few steps away from Chester city centre, but also have the train station a stones throw away to allow you to venture further afield. The accommodation itself is hard to falter, providing everything you would potentially need for either a short or long break. I will certainly be staying again if I am in the area.

The house was in a great location, perfect for walking into the town centre and also the train station.

Unfortunately the house didn’t quite live up to the photos. Several things were broken…part of blind missing in one of the bedrooms, broken wall socket in the other bedroom, some lights were not working, the sofa bed in the lounge was awful to sit on with lumpy springs, and both bathrooms had black mould around the edges and tiles. Generally it wasn’t as clean as it should have been.

The property requires a refresh, marked paintwork and radiators. Bathroom tiles and bath seals require work. Sofa in lounge uncomfortable, can feel the springs. Unable to open windows in 1 bedroom. Expensive as requires refresh

Excellent location 5 mins from the train station, 10 minute walk from the centre, wifi was good, water hot.

The property was nice but could be a lot better with a bit of TLC, showers were hot, but bathrooms in need of an update (en-suite shower was slippery as no rubber mat), bedrooms were nice but beds very uncomfortable, the lounge looked lovely but again the sofa (bed) had springs digging in when you sat down. No complaints in regards to the kitchen, the hosts were friendly and helpful when I contacted them via email.
