Beds were hard

I recently stayed at the Prairie Inn and had a really pleasant experience overall. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff were so welcoming and lovely. The room was clean and all the furniture was quaint and cute. The staff went above and beyond to help me out with everything I needed. They were accommodating and really brought out the small town vibe. The best part of the stay was the BREAKFAST! Everything was so fresh and they had so much variety. My kids loved the Fresh Danishes! We took pictures of the antique refrigerator and oven they had on showcase. My kids were so fascinated to see something so cool Highly recommend this place if you want to experience the small town hospitality! So charming

Quiet

Toilet seat broke, shower head didn’t work well. I was a bit put off by lack of toilet paper and towels. With two queen beds we should have 4 towels

Average room with easy check in and check out.

Very friendly. Clean. The beds were comfortable.

Expected more for breakfast. We counted on continental breakfast to help save money and still ended up having to go get brekkie.

Very clean and quiet area. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Nice, newly renovated bathroom. Great downtown area with fun shops and lots of food choices.

Nice for a less expensive hotel. Nothing fancy but clean, good breakfast.

Very convenient location next to the University of South Dakota and all businesses along the main highway in. Also just blocks from Main St,, the renovated "historic downtown" of Vermillion.

Some faulty shower valve issues (tepid hot water only) weren't noticed prior to my arrival - were not able to fix during my stay. The staff were very nice about it and did what they could.
