The room was updated in regards to bathroom. It was clean at a great price. At the beginning of downtown SLO, making it walkable. A few steps away from Bus Stop 2B, Super close walk to great breakfast options. High End Two Star Motel.

The location is great but the staff was not friendly but listed off a series of rules that seemed like they had problems frequently. Meh.
I see why the reviews are so good. It's an excellent value. The place was clean, quiet, and felt safe. The room looked like it had been recently remodeled. There is ample free parking. Three coffee spots are within a 3-6 minute walk. Plus, it's an easy walk, approx. 8-10 minutes to downtown restaurants.
