Pine River Inn

Great place, really clean. The front desk however was just unfriendly. Upon check in, she would not smile, and did not acknowledge compliments. We asked for a towel and she seemed upset that we asked, asked for a couple towels and she gave 1, and asked personal questions.

The service was not very good - check in was supposed to be at 3 and when we arrived at 3:00 p.m. they were still cleaning rooms. We finally got checked in at 3:20 p.m. The lobby was full of other people waiting to get checked in. There seemed like no real motivation to get people into their rooms.

Our reservation was secured with a credit card. Yet when we checked in at approximately 9:00pm they couldnt find a payment from Expedia. Although i called prior to confirm. Sheets were paper thin. No bedding blanket, only the bedspread (which we never use) normally it is removed. All rooms were booked in area of Baxter, Nisswa or we would of left immediately. P People were out drinking by garbage and a table. We just left. No dispute, just said it was unclean too dirty. Cost was $300.00 and stayed 1 night. We have family in the area.

The bathroom light was not working. The toilet seat was broken. The bed was very hard. Very rundown.

The place was not clean and smelled badly. I asked for another room , but while better it smelled like a lot of mold. I went to another motel.

Good location

There were some very loud guests, tv and some lights didn’t work. The microwave was very dirty with leftover food crumbs in it. Key cards randomly stopped working. The beds were comfortable. It’s just a place to sleep with earplugs.

Lady at front desk for check in was so nice. Room was a corner room and was super quiet.
