Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Cincinnati NE Mason

Room was great! Shower was a little dirty. The property needs some updates but all in all a good stay. For the price in that area I would stay again.

Options can’t be beat for the price. Two twin beds, a pull-out couch, AND a full kitchen. This is where we stay when we’re in town.

It was a pleasure staying at this Hotel. At the Reservation desk, Jessica and Brooke, were very pleasant and easy to talk to. The customer service skills at this Hotel was extraordinary. Thank you so much for a great stay. We were pleasantly surprised to see that our room had a small kitchen as well as a small sitting area with a TV. Will definitely stay here again.

The area and how it sat back from main road and areas

People use this place for long term living and there was always a lot of people outside or in cars or hanging out. Didn’t feel safe at all!

They folks at the property were very nice but the hotel is not very clean. The rooms and hallway smell of mold and the trash outside the building door was over-flowing and not emptied the whole five days that I stayed there. The buildings are in desperate need of maintenance, and it seems as if the owners are low on funds.

Came to stay for 2 nights to visit Kings Island with the family. Hotel was hard to find as you couldn't see it from the spot maps pinpoints and the name on the hotel is Hawthorn Suites, not Hawthorn Extended Stay like is on hotels.com. Upon arrival, a large group of people were smoking weed outside the lobby door right next to no smoking signs. Management even walked right by them and did nothing. General areas were dirty with visible door touch points stained. Arrived late on our trip and went to sleep quickly, in the morning found the shower handle broken and sitting on a shelf above. Notified management and was told they'd look in to it. Left to the park and came back late afternoon. No one had looked at it. Went back to the front desk, new person had no idea of the issue and no one had been contacted to look at it. Finally found the maintenance person had accidently caused it but he wouldn't be back on duty until Monday to fix it after we'd be gone. We were shown how to kinda finagle it to get it to work. Finally after the end of the day as we were getting ready to sleep we started smelling cigarette/weed smoke in our room, it must have been seeping in through the windows somehow was our guess. Completely frustrated and upset at this point we immediately packed up, checked out, and left. Traveled through the night exhausted to our final destination.

Hotel property desperately needs maintenance, stairway carpets very, very dirty and smelly! Our room itself was OK, the hotel property is very run down, garbage cans are overflowing also elevator is broken.
