TownePlace Suites by Marriott Denver West Federal Center

Property was dated. Furniture was aged. Kitchen was dated. Staff was nice enough. They ran out of breakfast items before stated breakfast hours were over. Although it has a Golden CO address it is 20 minutes from downtown Golden.

Elevators and Stairs smell like dog urine. Really should not be carpeted or don't invite pets. Room was ok and did not smell but the getting in and out was bad and kind of out of the way place. Def NOT in Golden Co like it says, I won't book with Hotels.com again.

Furniture was in poor shape. Landscaping need cleaning up.

We reserved and paid ahead for a two bedroom suite. Upon arrival we were informed that they over booked them and my 3 kids and I were now going to be in two separate single rooms :( even though I paid in advance. Got to the rooms and 324 smelled like smoke so I let the front desk know and they said they would note or could get a different room but since we were already in two different rooms I didn't want them to get spaced further apart and so just got it noted. The door lock/card reader front piece on the door of 322 was missing but still operable just showing the inside of the tech was odd. For a Marriot it was pretty disappointing but staff are friendly.

The pull out mattress was full of stains and the person sleeping on it had to sleep on couch because it was so gross

I enjoyed my stay here. The property is in great condition. The room is comfortable. The bed was perfect and the A/C worked well. Having a kitchenette was convenient. The area is quiet beyond hearing occasional road noise. The only downside was breakfast. IMO, it is below industry standard compared to what I have experienced at other properties. Staff was friendly. The surrounding area appears to be safe. Restaurants are within 5-10 minutes drive away.

Located in quiet area, but easy access to major roads, restaurants, etc. Nice room with full kitchen and plenty of room. Good walking area, in the event you had a dog.

Gap at top of door to adjoining room. Man talking loudly on phone until nearly 11pm. Dog is his room, barking three times for about 4 or 5 minutes each time. I wanted to go to sleep early, but the gap in the door and the noise did not allow it.
