Loved the location. It was in prime South Beach area, only a block away from the beach and about a mile from the Lincoln shops. The room was also perfect.

At night you have to either wait for the security guard to let you into the building if you were out late, or if he’s not at the front door you have to call him. Would rather a hotel that you can access at any time.

I traveled with a friend for the South Beach Food and Wine Festival, and we booked the Superior Deluxe Suite, 1 -room option. The room was very spacious for the two of us. Nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. We both loved the generous space for hanging clothes and storing our bags. We were nervous about the placement of the frosted glass window between the room and the shower, but found it was placed in a way that someone in the room can't see into the shower through the window without really trying. The bathroom and shower are large enough as well so that the window isn't obtrusive in the shower. It's a strange design, but ultimately not an issue. The frosted glass door to the bathroom also wasn't an issue because it was at the end of a short "hall" so privacy wasn't a problem. There is only "on / off" light - no dimmer option so the frosted glass does let light into the room if one person is using the bathroom at night. The queen sofa bed was very comfortable. It doesn't pull out but bedding is provided. It felt like a futon mattress. I found it to be very comfortable and had a good night sleep. The hotel is very centrally located and easy to visit the bars and restaurants in the area. The city noise didn't bother me for sleeping, but just be aware it is in a busy area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt safe walking around at night and there are many options to eat nearby. Recommend Mpanada around the corner for morning coffee. The room has a Nespresso coffee maker that I could not figure out how to turn on. The hotel does not have coffee available in the lobby in the morning, so you will need to go out for it if you are a morning coffee person. There is a restaurant on the main floor, but it seems to be operated separately from the hotel and it is NOT a place to sit in the morning. It is roped off. That was truly the only downside on our visit - not having a lobby spot to sit in early mornings while one of us was sleeping in. But it was a great stay and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a reasonably priced boutique hotel that is centrally located, safe, comfortable, and clean.

Fabulous location, a warm, friendly welcome and a lovely, comfy room. Stunning art deco building, only a short walk from the beach and lots of restaurants and other facilities in easy walking distance

Breakfast Description of location incorrect it is not steps from the beach but a 5-6 minuted walk and cannot see the Beach from the hotel and we had a corner view .
