The Marlin Hotel is excellently located and I consider the location one of its main attributes, along with the charm of the historic building and the convenience of beach towels provided for guests. However, the rooms are not very spacious (for travelers with large luggage), and the amenities are provided in smaller quantities compared to other hotels. Also, the Sicilian lemon scent in the corridors is a bit stronger than it should be. The staff is very friendly and helped us very well.

I needed a hotel that would hold luggage, that was quiet at night, that was close to the beach, and that had nice desk staff and comfortable beds.

There is no lobby and therefore no place to sit unless you use the restaurant that is located on the porch and in the entryway of the hotel.
