There’s basic and there’s basic, whatever they had used to clean the floor with made it very sticky, that’s if it had been cleaned. Satin pillow cases…….? Really! I could work out if it was somewhere for those seeking asylum or roomed rented by the hour. I don’t particularly feel Safe or comfortable

It was in a good location, easy to walk to and from the train station and also the main centre and university. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Rooms and corridors were a bit ‘tired’ but generally clean. There was a lot of shouting outside the hotel overnight as it is based on a main road, plus guests shouting in the corridors overnight.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good parking and access to routes in and out of Middlesbrough.

For a hotel, the facilities were basic, dated and a little scruffy in places, with loose plug sockets. Beds were clean, but we had a fly in our (clean) toilet, along with a stained small blanket. Breakfast only until 9am and limited choices. It felt like a start up business with lessons still being learned ... BUT, the staff were all friendly, so helpful and made our stay much more positive than we initially expected. Parking on site was plentiful, very close to Teeside Uni and local amenities. With a little more attention to detail, this could be a thriving hotel. This may have just been "two of those days", every business has them, but again, the staff were wonderful.
