The Cove Eleuthera

It was a very memorable experience. The place is so peaceful and relaxing. Perfect to just unwind, disconnect, and do nothing. There’s only one restaurant on site and it is very expensive so be prepared for that or explore restaurants outside the property. Although it’s not an adults only resort, it certainly felt like it. I will be returning.

This place is beyond beautiful! 2 cays that make it great for just floating g around. The people that work here are nice, but it seems everyone is lost. Theres lots of people working all the time, but little communication between them so no one really knows what’s going on. Every single in room dining was missing something. Whether it be the sugar for the coffee or the butter for your toast or just getting a glass of ice water with the order. Food was good just not a lot of selection if your staying here for more than 3 days. Also be ready to get your own towels and water at the beach because 8 out of 10 times there’s 2-4 employees just sitting in the beach hut instead of attending. They were all nice though. Seems like they need better training and better management all around the hotel. For the price you pay for the rooms I did think the employees would be more attentive and paying attention more to detail. Also rooms are nice. Villa style units, issues are doors don’t lock on balcony doors, front door handle wouldn’t close correctly, water started coming out milky from the sink and wall unit ac turns off by itself in middle of night. I’ll probably come back but only for the beaches.

What an incredible resort. The website does not do it justice. From the immaculate grounds, to the incredible staff who couldn't do enough for us. The food was fantastic. One of the best places to relax.

My wife and I managed to get a 4 night escape to this amazing property. Upon entering, the views were amazing. The grounds were immaculate, not a thing out of place. The staff have all been incredibly friendly and helpful, and all the food and drink options were outstanding. I would highly recommend to a couple wanting a getaway with lazy days and nights.

We experienced several issues during our stay that I would like to share. First, the airport pickup that had been arranged in advance was missed, which created an unnecessary inconvenience upon arrival. Additionally, we had booked an oceanfront room but were instead given a beachfront room. When we presented our confirmation, we were informed that nothing could be done. After a long wait, we chose not to pursue the matter further and accepted the room, but this was disappointing. Given the location of the property, where there are no nearby alternatives within walking distance for breakfast, and considering the already high room rates, it would be reasonable for breakfast to be included. We also experienced challenges with the dining environment. Due to the strong smell from the grill, we were unable to dine outdoors and had to sit indoors at all times. In addition, during breakfast and lunch hours, the use of bleach while cleaning the bar area negatively affected the dining atmosphere. This was particularly difficult for a member of our group who had recently undergone chemotherapy and is highly sensitive to strong smells. Finally, while some of the staff were pleasant, we noticed that the same team members were working across the restaurant, pool, and dinner service throughout the day. At times, this seemed to result in fatigue, and unfortunately, a few interactions came across as less welcoming than expected. That said, the location is excellent, the property itself is beautiful, and Turtle Point is a great experience. The sea is also wonderful for snorkeling, which we truly enjoyed.

If you look for that place where Aristotle was looking for Alexander the Great..you found it. So much space for your mind to decide what’s happiness on earth.

The Cove was absolutely unreal. It’s hard to believe that the pictures don’t do it justice. This was our first time in the Bahamas and fell in love with Eleuthera. The staff was exceptional and so friendly, they truly went above and beyond. The property is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen and I can’t wait to come back. We celebrated my husbands 40th birthday and it will always be one to remember. Demetrius, Chad, Oral, and Big O were our absolute favorites and really made the trip. The sunset cruise is definitely a must. If you’re looking to just relax and be on island time, this is the place for you.

Top notch resort. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Right on the beach. Wonderful marine life. Very comfortable rooms.

The Cove is simply outstanding. Excellent service and amenities. This was our third trip and it gets better with each visit. Cannot wait to return again.

The Cove Eleuthera is a beautiful , peaceful property and the beaches are lovely with crystal clear water . We enjoyed using the kayaks and snorkeling around the beaches . Where our experience fell short was with the service at the Cove . Most of the employees were friendly , but seemed to lack training and professionalism. The service on the beach was for the most part non existent . We had to move the heavy lounge chairs ourselves , put up the umbrellas and go looking for someone to replenish our waters / ice or order drinks . Most of the time when at the pool , we had to go inside the restaurant to find someone to order food or beverages . We were also disappointed in the restaurant . The food was just okay , and very expensive . An appetizer of fried calamari was $28 but only had about 8 pieces . At dinner every night they were out of several items which is okay however the servers should tell You that up front . We ordered "French toast " at breakfast which was basically two slices of banana bread toasted ,without anything else on the plate , and we had to ask for syrup . We thought that they could do a lot more with the restaurant that would just make it a nicer experience . One being more windows all around so that you can take advantage of the beautiful view . It was very dark inside , and didn't fit the beachy aesthetic. It may have been the time of year , but we could not eat outside at all as the flies were literally swarming . Perhaps with some fly traps or repellent candles this type of situation could be rectified . Most people enjoy eating outside when on a beach vacation. We stayed in a two bedroom oceanview suite . One of the ceiling fans wasn't working and we asked them to fix it twice . It remained inoperable for our 6 day stay . Housekeeping left towels in our daughter's bathroom that actually were ripped . One of the days , they forgot to leave the complimentary bottles of waters for us in the suite and we had to ask several times for them to bring some . When staying at a Relais and Chateaux the expectation is that the experience should be close to perfect , and unfortunately it wasn't .
