Rosewood Le Guanahani St Barth

Stayed here during spring break for 3 nights in two separate rooms for a family of 5. We booked kind of late and the hotel was essentially full. So our rooms were on opposite ends of the resort which we didn't appreciate but we did book kind of late so I can't really blame them. The hotel was definitely full. The rooms were all well appointed and comfortable. The bathrooms were very nice. Each room was basically a cottage . All were painted in pastel colors. The hotel was situated on a hill with the restaurant , pool and beach being at the bottom of the hill. People with mobility problems may have issues. For breakfast they had a very nice spread. We enjoyed hanging out by the pool and swimming in the ocean. We also played tennis on their artificial grass court . Cool experience overall. I think this is the largest hotel on the island. Our previous experiences at St barts was at the cheval Blanc. Although the rosewood is very nice, cheval Blanc is better.

We looked at several places online … and then later in real. This was and turned out to the best location, setting, restaurant, service and beach combo. The best package so to speak. The staff was super friendly and helpful and professional. The rooms are in really good shape with great views, the restaurant and bar is very good (although don’t come 5 min before they close the breakfast to avoid the “look”from the hostess …😠) and the location nice with a good wind and sun.

From the moment we pulled up to the entrance of Le Guanahani, a small turtle was wandering around the grass out front. My son and I were immediately thrilled. Upon walking into the lobby, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of luxurious tranquility. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and a refreshing welcome drink that hinted at the tropical experience to come. We came across small turtles all over the property, creating such a unique and magical ambiance. The Room: Our suite was a haven of comfort, boasting a plush king-sized bed with crisp linens that whispered promises of restful slumber. The oversized balcony offered a breathtaking view of the blue sea, merging seamlessly with the horizon. It was the perfect spot to enjoy our morning coffee, and even spacious enough for my husband to exercise. Amenities: The infinity pool, lined with palm trees, seemed to spill over into the ocean. A state-of-the-art fitness center allowed me to keep up with my workouts, and while I did not use the spa services, I thoroughly enjoyed the steam room. The resort has an adults only pool in the spa area, along with a relaxing sitting area. Rosewood Explorer’s Kids Club: We initially chose this hotel for the kids club, having had experiences at other Rosewood properties. Rosewood Explorer’s Kids Club. It lived up to our expectations. It is a paradise for young adventurers. Designed with bright, inviting colors, the club offers a safe and engaging space where children can explore a world of fun. From playing in the outdoor water area to creative arts and crafts sessions that spark imagination, every activity was curated to our son’s likings. Our son immediately bonded with Bleiz, allowing us to relax knowing he was in good hands, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. He came back with a plethora of art creations. Location: This property is located in a private area in St. Barth’s. It is about a 15-20 minute drive to Gustavia. We had a rental car and didn't mind the drive into the more upbeat side of the island. The property is extremely serene and was very quiet during our visit. It is right next to Il Sereno. Service: What truly set the Rosewood Le Guanahani apart was the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Their attention to detail and genuine care for guests' experiences made us so welcome. Overall Experience: Our stay at the Rosewood Le Guanahani was nothing short of magical. It was the perfect blend of relaxation, luxury, and adventure. Between lounging by the ocean, swimming with sea turtles steps from the property, to taking a short hike around the peninsula, this resort was a slice of paradise that we would definitely return to. To make the departure slightly less difficult, the hotel arranged for us to leave our rental car on the property and drove us to the airport for a seamless departure. I bought a day pass for Rosewood Le Guanahani, which included a lunch on the beach, day bed, and towel. The food was incredible and the property itself is stunning, which includes an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. The service was also great. If you're not staying as a guest at the hotel, a day pass here is definitely worth it!

Rarely do I write reviews but for this resort it is a must! The attention to detail starts the minute you get off the ferry until the minute you leave. Greeted with champagne and meeting Martin the GM, who was fantastic, and then brought to the Merchal Suite was an experience I will never forget! The room was absolutely perfect! Room service was quick and never took longer than 5 minutes, the pool was the perfect temperature, and nothing beats the atmosphere! I even had my massage outside on the patio. If you decide to do that or go to the spa ask for Nico! He is an artist with his hands when it comes to massaging. We had such a great time that we extended a night and changed our flights because it was just THAT good! If you book here you will not regret it even for a minute. WORTH EVERY PENNY!! We've been to the Caribbean many times--this one was special. We were at Guanahani in the first week of April. The grounds are beautiful, and our room was quiet and excellent. Staff overall reminds us of top hotels in Paris--considerate and very competent. Spa is nice, with experienced and skillful staff. Dining at the Beach House was outstanding--Coralie was very helpful, especially with navigating the gluten-free choices (St. B., like most Caribbean islands, is a good spot for those with gluten allergies). The wine list isn't huge, but there are many good choices at a range of prices--the wine steward is helpful and knowledgeable. The concierge staff was a great help with restaurant recommendations and reservations.

Rosewood Le Guanahani St Barth by far the nicest property in Anse du Grand Cul-de-Sac and possibly even the island (I can say the because we explored Le Barthelmy, Eden Roc and others). We enjoyed the properties many amenities, including great beachfront pool and water activities. Easy to paddle board, kayak and snorkel right off the beach. Even swam with sea turtles. The service and attention to detail were amazing, and the grounds of the property are impeccable. A truly special place and would highly recommend!

This place is absolutely magical. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The service was top notch. Couldn't recommend this place any higher.
