Wish we would have known that American appliances could not be plugged in. We were unable to use our hair dryer (although there was one provided in room but it was not high quality at all) or flat iron. Beautiful reaort with excellent staff.

"Learn a little French "

The beach is beautiful and resort with free breakfast is in great shape. Sargassum Sea weed can be a disappointment though. About 7 Beach bars but food service shuts down at about 4pm because the little Village has about 10 restaurants that open at 5 pm

We really enjoyed our stay at La Playa Orient Bay! It was myself, my husband, and our 2-year-old son. The staff were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. We loved the breakfast buffet, and the pool was large, clean, and perfect for relaxing, especially with a toddler. Unfortunately, during our visit, Orient Bay was quite windy and wavy, with a fair amount of sargassum, so we really appreciated having access to such a great pool. The location is excellent—just around the corner from the charming Orient Bay village, with lots of great restaurants within walking distance. There's also a convenient supermarket nearby. We’ll definitely be coming back!

THE BEACH IS COVERED WITH SEAWEED AND YOU CANNOT GO IN THE WATER. THE TOWELS IN YOUR ROOM ARE SCARCE AND ARE NOT CHANGED DAILY, BEACH TOWELS AND ROOM TOWELS ARE STIFF AND SCRATCHY, BUFFET BREAKFAST IS OUTDOORS AND IS ALWAYS COLD, PIGEONS LAND ON THE FOOD AND TABLES, THE ISLAND PEOPLE ARE THE BEST PART OF GOING!!! THIS ISLAND TOOK A VERY BAD HIT FROM LAST HURRICAINE AND HAS NOT RECOVERED ALMOST AT ALL.

The staff here are amazing, even the manager. Everyone was so helpful and polite. The property was also pristine and smelled so nice.Being here felt like home even if it Was our first time at Saint Martin. Thank you to Benedicte, Cathrine and their manager- our stay was really delightful and. I’m thankful for the accommodation provided to us during these past 4 days.
