The hotel interior was clean and the staff were very good but the exterior was very tired and in need of some serious maintenance . Windows doors in particular

The menu in the restaurant was very basic which meant we had to drive to other places.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. Good water pressure. Comfortable beds. The location is excellent for anyone wanting to visit Charlecote House and Park, it is just about 300 metres away. Quick drive to Stanford-upon-Avon, about 10 minutes. But only if you have a car. Free parking, lots of space.

No way of moving around if you don't have a car. Breakfast was rather poor, with low-quality sausages and ham, and not nearly enough fruit and dairy options. Their mugs were too small, when coffee machine prepared latte it was overflowing. The room was large but basic, despite being advertised as a superior room, with no microwave or refrigerator, and only two towels per person. Someone was slamming doors at four in the morning but I understand that was not the hotel's fault. Overall, it was a clean, calm, pleasant motel, but it was certainly not the unique, picturesque hotel it was advertised to be.

Very good selection of hot and cold foods, choice of cold drinks and tea/coffee.

There was a drinks cooler in the room whichmight seem a good idea but it was on the floor and I had to kneel down to open it and put any bottles in it. Then when it was operating it was very noisy and kep waking us up in the night so we had to switch it off.
