Paguia’s Cottages

The room was spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment during our stay.

There was a kettle in the room, but no coffee or tea provided, and no fridge to store any food. Additionally, there was no hot water.

The primary reason I chose Paguia's is its convenient location, just a short distance from White Island, one of our main destinations for this vacation. This made it an ideal choice for our trip. Additionally, I based my decision on the positive reviews they received from past guests, many of whom praised the comfort and cleanliness of the cottages. Another standout feature is the room size, which is more than spacious enough for three people. The air conditioning worked perfectly for us, providing much-needed relief during the warm days, and ensuring we had a restful sleep at night. Overall, the accommodations were more than satisfactory. The room was comfortable, well-maintained, and the location was wonderfully peaceful, offering a nice retreat after our daily adventures. The staff were also friendly and attentive, which added to the overall pleasant experience. Whether you're looking to relax after a day of sightseeing or enjoy the serene surroundings, Paguia's offers a great balance of convenience, comfort, and tranquility.

One aspect I didn’t like was the confusion surrounding their contact numbers, which made it difficult to reach them for follow-ups or any room-related concerns. I first tried calling the number listed on their Facebook page, but when someone answered, they informed me that they were from Davao Oriental, not Paguia’s. When I raised this issue with the property manager, she insisted that it was their active number, which left me quite confused. Additionally, the number provided on Booking.com was always unreachable, and despite trying the other contact number several times, it didn’t connect. The main issue here is that having reliable phone numbers is crucial for direct communication. While messages on Booking.com can work, they often come with delays, and phone calls are much more immediate for handling urgent matters or getting quick responses.

perfect location so clean and the room is big for such an affordable price. it’s in a really nice neighborhood would stay here again!

The room was very big, the staff helped us a lot with anything we needed from booking tours to help with cleaning the shoes. The location is great next to the main road and restaurant. The price is low

There was cold water in the shower and the toilet seat was broken.
