Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß gut erreichbar.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Zocalo an der Fußgängerzone. Taxis und Autos können das Hotel nicht erreichen und man muß ca 250m zum Hotel laufen. Am Zocalo waren täglich Veranstaltungen sodass es bis spät am Abend laut war. Bereits früh morgens ca. 4,00 Uhr beginnen arbeiten vor dem Hotel. Das gesamte Zimmer war in einem abgewohnten Zustand. Wasserhähne und Dusche ist total sind veraltet. Das Frühstück im Dachterrassenlokal war überteuert und schmeckt nicht. Selbst das fotografieren mit einer Kamera von oben auf die Kathedrale war verboten. Mit dem Mobiltelefon durften Fotos gemacht werden. Am Tag der Anreise wurde uns als erstes ein Zimmer zugewiesen, das wesentlich kleiner war als das von uns gebuchte. Erst auf Beschwerde wurde uns das gebuchte Zimmer zugewiesen. Das Hotel profitiert ausschließlich von der zentralen Lage.

Das Hotel ist vielleicht ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber optisch sehr schön. Sehr hilfsbereites Personal. Schöne Dachterrasse mit Restaurant und Blick auf den Zócalo.

Zu bedenken ist, dass das Hotel von Taxis, Uber etc nicht angefahren werden kann, da es in der Fußgängerzone liegt. Je nach Fahrer und Verkehrssituation muss man 50 bis 100 Meter laufen

This hotel has a nice view. That is the only good thing I can say about it. My husband, daughter and I stayed here for three days. We couldn’t get towels or water. This was bad enough, we ran out of toilet paper on the second evening and the lady at the front desk said we could not get more until the next morning. We also reported to them that there was an animal, most likely a rat, in the wall scratching behind our bed. She just said there was nothing she could do.

La posizione è impareggiabile, proprio sullo Zocalo. L'atmosfera è un po' decadente ma comunque affascinante, in un palazzo storico. L'ampiezza della camera, co vista parziale sulla Plaza. L'acqua "free" in camera. La possibilità di pagare all'arrivo.

Inevitabili i rumori notturni dalla Plaza. Qualche problema con l'acqua calda. Non possibile la colazione, nemmeno con pagamento "extra" (addotta una giustificazione non comprensibile: il concerto di Shakira, nella Plaza, la sera successiva), con conseguente impossibilità di godere della vista totale sulla Plaza.
