Britannia Hotel Wolverhampton

It was easy to check in and the member of staff was pleasant and quick to get me in. Checking out was the same and with the same person who carried it out

Worst service I have ever experienced! Hotel is practically falling apart, with the hotel in such a poor state the least they could do is clean the rooms but apparently that’s too much to ask. Wouldn’t even call this place a hotel.

Can’t really complain as it’s exactly what you expect for the price, but not great overall.

Great hotel for a cheap getaway, maybe needs a bit of updating but then wouldn't be as cheap!

Hotel was great and day time staff. Only problem was the night staff which i found very rude and incompetents

Very poor igiene, the bathroom was incredibly dirty

Too much noise in the night from the music bars around and from adjoining rooms. Also I don't understand why I wasn't allowed to bring food into the hotel when the restaurant was closed but I actually saw another couple bringing in their take-away food while the receptionist simply looked on. Meanwhile about an hour prior to this I and my son were prevented from bringing in our own food based on hotel policy. It seems one policy for some and another for others. Definitely not coming back to this hotel.

Enjoyed my stay

The evening meal buffet was excellent, good value and the food tasty. (only available if a bus trip is staying) Special mention to Helen who was very helpful and friendly. I was staying to attend a course and the position was ideal being close to the railway station and the course venue. No negatives. Room clean and tidy, good value for the money.
