The Creekside Inn

Rooms are always well cleaned, modern looking, and nicely made up. The grounds are also well manacured, quaint, secluded, and peaceful with the creek that runs through the property. The front desk staff is polite and efficient, and the continental breakfast has tasty pastries, fruit, hot & cold cereal choices, juices, and hot drinks -simple, but sufficient. The only bothersome issue was, we were in a 1st floor room and the person(s) in the room above us were very heavy footed from about 5:30 - 8 am in the morning. So, no crete/concrete between the floors of, at least, the E building we were in this time. Other than this issue this time around, we always enjoy our stays at Creekside.

Seriously exceeded our expectations. Plentiful parking, a nice little balcony off our room overlooking actual nature, free coffee that turned into a staple of my mornings, and staff that were friendly and over the top helpful. We’ll be back.

Gut war der Parkplatz und die nette Rezeption.

Die Zimmer sind völlig veraltet, die Tür nach draußen hat einen Riesen Spalt und wirkt nicht sicher. Das Bad ist uralt und man kann kaum duschen. Der Föhn ist sehr alt und man kann mit ihm lange Haare nicht trocknen.

Check in easy, room nice, grounds nicely kept, breakfast great..

I’m expected better breakfast, but it was fine

Location was good for what we were there for. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The morning continental breakfast was adequate and balanced.

Nice selection of morning items. Ideal location for our stay. Liked the deli shop. Nice helpful staff.

Disappointed the creek had no water. Somehow we imagined the buildings to be differently from the pics on the Creekside site.

The Creekside Inn is ideally located, within a 15-minute walk of the California Avenue Caltrain Station and a 10-minute drive from downtown Palo Alto. The atmosphere is warm and charming, with a lovely fountain and seasonal flowers, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. It was our second stay here, and it certainly won’t be our last!
