"Wenn wieder Chiang Rai, dann unbedigt wieder dieses Hotel."

Ich hatte das Hotel schon gekannt, als es noch "Dusit Island Resort" hiess. Die idyllische, absolut ruhige Lage auf einer kleinen Insel, direkt am River Kok, begeistert nach wie vor. Mehrere gute Restaurants; besonders empfehlenswert: das chinesische. Ein Dinner zuoberst auf der Terrasse, unter freiem Himmel, mit herrlicher Aussicht, ist ein besonderes Vergnügen. Sehr gute Küche und Service. Die Lobby mit Bar und Pianomusik gehört zu den grosszügigsten, elegantesten, die ich in TH kenne. RIESIGER Parkplatz für den [Miet]Wagen. Ohne besonders zu fragen, wird man vom Hoteleingang zum Wagen gefahren.

Die Matratze des Betts finde ich eine Spur zu hart; ein bisschen weicher wäre angenehmer. Ansonsten waren wir restlos zufrieden.

Kids loved the pool and water slide area as well as the bouncy castle. The Christmas lights on the grounds were beautifully done and were a wonderful surprise. Morning buffet breakfast was huge with plenty to choose from.
