Wyndham Lancaster Resort and Convention Center

There were multiple concerns with the hotel during our trip. The cleaning staff refreshed our towels but failed to service anything else in the room. I speak Spanish and asked her to make or refresh the beds and she refused. We contacted the staff and it took a total of four calls with the team between 1pm -8pm to have it resolved. I made multiple calls and the issue was finally adressed after 8pm when I was trying to get children down for bed. The facilities had a foul smell. The breakfast buffet has undesirable options and the food was cold. We were highly disappointed with our stay.

This is a very busy hotel with conventions, shows, private events and dance competitions just about every weekend! However, this Convention center could use major cleaning, upgrades to the building and increased staff! They can't keep hosting these events and not provide upgraded menu choices and increased staff! The main restaurant is never open during any of the events I have attended....solely relying on a limited bar menu and limited food cart. There is no outside food permitted unless you have a room booked and can take the food to your room. With the amount that is charged per night, per room they seriously need to look into making things more affordable or better selections for their guests like including breakfast! This needs to be addressed within a reasonable time frame to make things more comfortable!

I think that when there is a convention of hundreds of kids going on the hotel should inform possible guests. And since the hotel is so large, keep them separated. The kids were running through the halls screaming g and yelling all night long, and the walls are paper thin.
