Beds are to hard

We stayed on the 2nd floor for the first night in a room that was bigger than the other rooms, I think it was a family room as it had a sofa (that turns into a bed when you pull it out) It was clean, the bed was comfy, the pillows were bouncy and cradled your head nicely (I loved that we got 2 pillows each, some hotels only give you one!) There is handwash, shampoo, towels and conditioner in the bathroom, a large shower space with a hand rail, an iron, ironing board and good sized wardrobe space for quite a lot of clothing, (maybe bring yourself some hangers as there are only around 4 or 5), tissues, teas, coffees, milks, a kettle and a good sized modern tv in the room. It was absolutely silent the whole night which suits us perfectly as my daughter has autism and can struggle with unfamiliar sounds at night in hotels. We didn’t expect to want to stay another night but we ended up staying. We then stayed in room 1204 on the 12th floor (great view!) This room, again, was perfect for us. No noise at all in the night. The only one thing I would say is that it would have been nice to have a fan available for us to use (rather then the air conditioning) as my daughter finds the sound of a fan soothing to sleep to and likes to have the air directly on her to keep her cool. That’s not a criticism though, just an idea as some people might feel the same. If the hotel could have a few available fans for this reason, then this would be great! 😊 The parking is £25, but that is for 24 hours and you can still use your space even after you’ve left the hotel. So I don’t think it’s bad really, as I checked around the town and the average price was around £3-50 to £4 per hour or more. The location of the hotel is a two minute walk from the bottom of Leeds indoor markets. We were able to come back to the hotel several times to drop off bits of shopping. I cannot comment on breakfast as we didn’t eat it but I saw what was available and it was a cooked breakfast (with scrambled eggs), toast, croissants, waffles, fruit, yoghurts and various hot & cold drinks. The staff were absolutely wonderful going above and beyond to do anything they could to help and I saw them being the same with other residents in the hotel. We decided to stay in our room a second night but it was last minute and I had a feeling the room might already be booked but Adri managed to change things around a bit so that we could stay, so I was extremely pleased as my daughter does not deal very well with change. I dealt mainly with Simran, Adri and JP and they were all absolutely lovely, helpful and polite! That is so important to us as customers and makes such a difference to see a friendly, smiling face, it makes our day 10 times better! So keep up the good work! 😀

The property was in a great location, really central and a walk away from many things. The staff were so lovely and helpful throughout the entire morning and night and made us feel really welcome

£20 for parking is poor value.
