Rhenia Mykonos

An excellent hotel for 3*. It was €36 from the airport in an Uber. It is a 10 minute sea bus ride from the old port. These boats are every 30 minutes & in my opinion better than the public bus as an alternative. (Both options are €2 each way). There are 2 very good tavernas 5 minutes down the steep hill on the main road where we ate for our 3 nights. Our bungalow had a small terrace with a beautiful sea view looking over to mykonos town. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fresh with all the usual continental options. The service was lovely, personal & you can tell it is a family run hotel. We got such a warm welcome. A special thanks to Anna on the front desk for help around our delayed ferry & to the lovely Elise at the pool bar (who doubles up as the evening porter!). Such lovely, attentive people. I would strongly recommend here if you would like a good value mykonos hotel with a pool & away from the party life but close enough for day trips & exploring. Thank you Rhenia!

Very nice hotel.

This hotel is a little treasure, only a 5 minute water taxi ride (which I thoroughly recommend) to the heart of Mykonos, but just far enough away to escape the hustle and occasional madness of the centre, especially when the cruise ships hit port. The hotel is family run and we were made to feel really welcome throughout our seven night stay. Nothing was too much trouble and there was always someone on hand to give assistance and advice. The rooms are large, spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and quality linen. General facilities are what you would expect to find in a hotel of this standard. We also had the most stunning sea views from our private balcony. The pool area is very clean, pretty and well managed, with supplies of fresh towels. Towels are also provided for trips to the beach. The grounds are attractive and well maintained, and also benefit from the wonderful sea views. The breakfast is of high quality and plentiful. They do not serve lunch or dinner, but snacks were available and there are two excellent restaurants a short walk from the hotel. Me and my partner spent 7 nights at the Rhenia in Tourlos. Such a beautiful place! A little corner of paradise. Our room was immaculate and the view from the balcony was beautiful, we enjoyed many coffees here in the morning. The breakfast was so delicious! As was the pizzas we had for lunch a few times. Family were so helpful and looked after us so well! We loved our stay so much and will definitely be staying here again if we return to Mykonos in future. P.S we especially loved the family pets Pookie, Panthera, the tortoises and kitties!

We absolutely loved Rhenia! This beautiful property ran by the most beautiful family enriched our Mykonos experience! The property and rooms are immaculately clean and the views are amazing! By the end of our stay we had bonded with the property’s pets and felt like family. I wouldn’t dare return to Mykonos and not stay at Rhenia!

Amazing hotel with super helpful & gracious staff! The property and rooms are beautiful with an incredible view. Additionally, it is only a few minute walk to some great restaurants and the port. We will definitely be staying here again once back in Mykonos!

We would definitely stay here again. It is close to the “new port” where ferries drop you off and is away from the busiest part of the island, but you can get to the “old port” easily by a quick ferry trip. There were two excellent restaurants near by. The rooms all look like they have great views and ours was perfect and clean. The owners were really friendly and helpful and they had a great breakfast. The only small downside is that it is up quite a steep hill, so people with mobility issues may struggle.

I enjoyed my stay at Rhenia hotel as it was beautiful and the owners are amazing!! The rooms were spacious, clean and the view was fabulous. The breakfasts were good. The owners bent over backwards to help us with everything, luggage, directions, option on what to do on the island. I highly recommend staying at Rhenia!!!

Rhenia is an excellent family run hotel where the staff are always helpful and friendly. The hotel is landscaped into the hillside with superb views over the bay towards Mykonos town. We stayed B&B and the breakfasts were always excellent. The setting could be a little challenging unless you like hills!

Wow.......from arriving here I knew I was going to love it. Our room was fab overlooking the harbour. Breakfast was fabulous, with lots of choice, and was fresh. Great location, 2 restaurants down the hill. Walking back up was hard but gets easier!!!!! Water taxis down the hill and across the road 2E to Mykonos town. Beautiful but very busy. We hired a quad, and the roads are good. Found some beautiful, deserted beaches. Would recommend this place 100%, the family are a delight especially Anna and their beautiful dogs. Will return one day to the Rhenia.
