Muy caro para el lugar, el acceso terracería, a lo cual se me hizo pésimo El hotel no tiene playa En realidad, fue una sorpresa desagradable

Quiet, romantic property, very nice room with ocean view, nicely appointed. Friendly, helpful staff. Great massage. Cute quiet beach. The food was beautifully plated, good but not quite great. Perfect for laidback relaxation.

The room, staff, food, hotel facilities… could not have been better.

It is rather isolated which worked for us but might not for all. Taxis are needed to go to places of interest.

We love how this boutique hotel is in a quieter section of the greater Puerto Vallerta area. On a dirt road that keeps things a bit more mellow, this small hotel has an excellent farm and sea to table cuisine. The staff are authentically kind and attentive. We feel like come home to a true retreat and our nervous systems can reset after busy schedules and stimulus. We love walking up the stairs to a quiet room facing the sea.

Nothing this fits with our needs of quiet, comfort and kindness.

Hotel Basalto is a little slice of heaven in Mexico! Beautifully maintained, clean, so comfortable and our room was exceptional and spacious. The staff goes above and beyond to meet your needs and Gary the bartender makes the best drinks in town! The food is beyond great, we had 3 meals a day for 2 days and every meal was exceptional. We also had fantastic in room massages overlooking the ocean. If you are looking for a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the ocean views, you’ve found it. We used the bikes to get to Playa Cayeros and pop into the Barracuda one day for a beach day but mostly we just enjoyed staying at the Hotel and all the amenities they have on site. As others have mentioned, you can’t swim in the beach immediately in front of the hotel but one of the best beaches in Punta Mita is walkable/bikeable so we didn’t find that an issue. Highly recommend!
