The apartment is clean and nice looking, the host in very nice.

They had an issue with our apartment in the first day, so they gave us another apartment, but smaller (1 bedroom instead of 2 and we were 4 people). Also, there was written that they have a parking garage and there wasn’t, so we had to park on the street.

Nice apartment, well equipped and spacious. There is a place to park, but we didn't use it. The host was nice and helped us throughout the check-in, as we struggled a bit to find the apartment. The pictures and description are accurate.

The apartment is big and well furnished. The location is fine not too close not too far from the city centre.

The host didn't make our stay pleasant. LGQBT+, stay away from here. Lets start from the beginning. We checked in at the apartment without him being present there. When we arrived in the apartment we found ants in the house, and the shower was moldy. We asked two things via text, an clothing iron and board that were supposed to be included with the apartment. After we asked if there is washing powder available in the apartment or if we had to buy it. He said we had to buy it ourselves, which was fine by us. A few days later we asked if he had any extra toilet paper available (there was only one roll) and more garbage bags (there was only a trashbag in the bin). He said that we have to buy them ourselves as well, and that it is a holiday home and not a hotel. We let him know that in our experience that is a bit weird and those things should be provided for in our opinion. We also mentioned that we saw ants in the house and that we cannot throw away the trashes because we didn’t have a new bag. Then his tone shifted and he proceeded to say that we suddenly complain about everything on the last day, and that we should remember that he didn’t even ask for deposit upon arrival. He didn’t make us a favour because he was’t even there, so how could he collect it? He decided to change the terms of the apartment and said that we have to throw away the trashes away everyday, and started to send messages in capital letters. At this point we saw reviews of other people where the host came to the house without them knowing. We felt a bit unsafe after this. We decided not to engage further in the discussion so it wouldn’t escalate further. And we are happy that we didn’t. After I left the review he send me this on whatsapp: “ugly f*cking f*ggot, nothing is true. You will be reported” (I’m sorry for typing these words but I think it’s important to mention) He deleted it after he saw I read it this and he send me “🤗🤗🤗” after. Just be aware for your sake.

When we arrived at the front gate of the property, I thought we would be greeted by the host, but turn out there’s no one except WhatsApp instructions. After we settled in the apartment, owner wanted us to sent him the copy of our passport through WhatsApp, I refused as the personal information safety reasons, but we did give him essential information such as passport number and date of birth and nationality. The owner once threatened us that he will sent police to sent us away from the property, until booking.com customer service got involved and solved the problem. Until the night before checkout, the owner just informed us to leave the room key at the dining table and leave before set checkout time without asking if we had need to leave the luggages there until he realized he hadn’t collect the city tax from us, then he agreed to come over before checkout time to finally meet us. The whole staying experience is really bad, the sink of the shower area was frequently flooded, and have bad smells came out from time to time. The location of the property is “not safe” as we recommended. The weirdest thing happened right after we checked out, the status of this booking was shown as canceled and booking.com sent us message to confirm whether we had stay there as the owner contacted them saying we didn’t checkin at all. I guess he did this to avoid bad reviews from us.

on our arrival we had an issue with a damaged key. We could not open the appartment door. It followed an unfriendly whatsapp communication with host in which we got blamed, that we are too stupid to use keys. In the end after ca. 45 mins a friend of the host came and opened the door with another key and confirmed that our key was really damaged. We do not complain about the damaged key. Technical issues can always happen. But we are struggling with the communication. This was a little compensated with an inviation to a breakfast, but we never got any verbal excuse for the behaviour. In the appartment we felt a little observed by the camera at the entrance and the PIR/motion sensors in living and bed room.
