Quiet and peaceful

Nothing it was amazing

The room was good value and a very nice clean room. The reception was good an easy check in. The food in the restaurant was very very good.

No window in the room.

That there was another entrance you could use so you did not have to go through the restaurant all the time

The room was clean

No windows to look out of. No remote for the tv. Had to leave via the fire exit - the front door was locked.

The hotel was easy to find with plenty of parking, and the check‑in team were genuinely friendly, taking the time to show me everything I needed. The on‑site restaurant was a pleasant surprise, especially given the slightly remote location, and my single room was a good size with effective air‑con. The bathroom was spotless and offered more amenities than I expected for the price, plus the complimentary bottled water was a thoughtful touch. By the evening, the whole place was quiet and comfortable, making it ideal for a one‑night transit stay — I’d happily return.

On the flip side, the Wi‑Fi was very weak, though mobile reception worked fine. The location did feel a little isolated if you’re planning to explore. I also prefer carpeted rooms or at least a rug, as stepping onto a cold floor first thing isn’t my favourite way to start the day, but is a personal preference. My room was near the stairs, and the soundproofing wasn’t great, so I could hear people passing by in the early evening, though it settled down later on.

My room didn’t have a window that I could open and it had a vinyl cover blocking out any views or daylight.
