This is the second time I've stayed here at Hotel Laxmi Empire and my experience was highly satisfying like the first time. For the price, the room which I reserved was really large and had all the amenities one could expect. The bed was huge and was super comfortable. The room was really neat and clean and stocked with all the required items such as toiletries, towels, tea, coffee and drinking water. The room also has an intercom which can be used to order room service or contact the front desk which is a really nice feature to have. Outside, there's plenty of parking available which was really helpful for me since I drove here with my personal vehicle. The locality is peaceful and secluded which really stood out for me. I definitely recommend Hotel Laxmi Empire and I'm sure that I will be back here when I return to Madgaon.

Staff said it was not possible to get a taxi! As a business hotel (or any other), how can Reception not summon a taxi, or are they incompetent? Location not as expected.

The restaurant was excellent. Great food and great staff. I would definitely recommend eating here if in the area, but would not recommend staying in the hotel.

Hotel room smelt VERY strongly of cleaning chemicals. Despite this, the room cleanliness was ok but not great. Staff messaged me several times before arrival asking me to pay or they would give my room away (even though the booking.com app said pay on arrival and international payment was difficult for me) but when I did pay them they never sent me confirmation of receipt despite me messaging many times over several weeks. First room they gave us AC didn't work. We had paid for AC and it was very hot for us, so we asked to move. Second room the lock on hotel room didn't work. Pool area was not at all similar to photos on app, sun loungers face onto rubble waste land.
