New Dap Hostel (in Grape Town)

The hostel building is very nice, the couryard is beautiful and my room was big, comfy and nicely decorated. The bed was a big traditional platform bed. The position is great, the hostel is not in town but in a nearby village which is very pleasant The lady in charge during the day is very nice and helpful and speak very good English, while the lady on the night shift not so much, possibly because of the language barrier..

Great stay, lovely courtyard, large rooms. Staff were good, helped arrange car, driver for a full day trip

La struttura è molto carina, la titolare parla molto bene inglese ed è molto disponibile ad aiutarti in caso di necessità. La posizione non è centralissima, ma con un Didi ci si sposta facilmente.

L’atmosphère est très agréable, les chambres sont propres et le ménage est fait complètement tous les jours. La salle de bain est jolie et agréable à utiliser. L’espace commun est vaste, à l’ombre et paisible. Le personnel est à l’écoute et la gérante de l’hôtel peut vous organiser énormément d’excursions. Un autre point très positif est la convivialité entre les autres clients avec qui nous avons partagés deux excursions. Nous avons fait de belles rencontres durant cette étape reposante.

Comme dans beaucoup d’hôtels en Chine, il n’est pas possible de prendre le petit-déjeuner sur place. Ce n’est pas un problème si vous prévoyez ce détail à l’avance. Nous avons eu du mal à diriger notre taxi de la gare à l’hôtel. Cela s’évite si vous cherchez Dapu Youth Hostel sur Amap.

They’re so helpful with booking transportation, tours, giving you advise, etc. Great to avoid stress and not have to worry about figuring things out by yourself, particularly since attractions in Turpan are scattered and some are far from the city center. Common areas are really nice and comfy to hang out in. They have everything you need.

Staff was very helpful, the hostel planned trips to local attractions, which was awesome!

Not where it says it is on many maps, you might walk around a long time before you find it. If you take a DiDi car there, the map on DiDi will take you to pretty much the correct location, or very close.
