Really nice property that could just use some mosquito control and a fresh coat of paint an linens

Affordable hotel. There is $25 pet fee, which is not posted on website.

Room was quiet and clean. Comfortable bed. Breakfast offerings were a bit sparse. There was no soap in the bathroom, but we travel with our own. A bath mat would have been nice too. Overall, it was worth the money for one night.

Rustic doesn’t mean that a property should be allowed to be worn out

We liked the room it was very clean and quiet. The bar that is located next to the Hotel was also very nice but so loud that you heard the music in your room. I use to be the housekeeping supervisor at Holiday Inn in Poplar Bluff and so i k ow what it takes to clean the rooms after a stay and the housekeeping was above and beyond expectation!!! The only thing I would change is the website called our room 2 twin beds which it was really 2 Queen. I was worried we wouldn't have enough room for our son and his 2 small children,but it worked out with the beds being Queen.

Arrived to a room that stunk like cigarette smoke, with an ashtray and a "No Smoking" sign. No toilet paper, no tissues. Asked front desk if it was a nonsmoking room and was told it was. Clearly, it had been smoked in many times as the stench was in the blankets (which we did not use) and the curtains. The bed was very uncomfortable and had a plastic sheet under the fitted sheet so every time you move, it wakes you up. (I hesitate to say why they need the plastic sheet.) Woke up with a terrible back ache that took a lot of Advil to be able to drive the next day. On the bright side, the young man at the front desk was really nice, polite and helpful.

everything was perfect

My room was huge and very clean. There was parking for my Jeep and the trailer I was pulling, which was also great. Dylan provided a great check in experience. The lounge next door is a must! The decor is incredible! Angie the bartender is wonderful, get her brisket sandwich, delicious! This is a rustic hotel, not updated or modern, so if this is not your thing, go elsewhere. I thought it was fantastic! And the price was also super good! Highly recommend.

The accommodations were eclectic but quite nice. The WiFi was weak and bandwidth was a bit limited. Not painfully limited, but not adequate for steady streaming. May have been just our room - it seemed to vary within the room. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and the staff were very helpful. There was a loud party above us, but that was a one-off. If you are looking for something eclectic and don't need 4 stars, this is for you!

Friendly staff. But don't expect any extras. Clean and qiiet. The decor is really awesome.
