Staff was great as always, room was perfect

My room was quaint, it was rustlic with 2-3 person jacuzzi tub

Clean overall but very dated. The towels were stale- not musty, but they didn't smell clean/fresh either. The tavern on the property was extremely smoky and ultimately we chose to eat elsewhere. Hubby and I agreed that it would be a reasonable option to stay at for a quick overnight while passing through in future, but maybe not for an extended stay.

Decorating was pretty cool. Staff was so so. Bed was not good and the shower was made for some mighty short people.

Bullwinkle Rustic Lodge is exactly as it's billed. The motif is wood, pine cones, and plaids. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The lounge is smoker friendly which may appeal to some guests. The lodge is smoke free.

It is a quaint place. Poorly lit. Soundproofing is poor. Would I stay again? Probably not.

Great value. Clean. Meets all needs for a night.

Although the property is quite aged, was clean. However, because of the age there was a problem with bugs entering during the night toward the light. I would say the highlight was the bar next door.
