Bullwinkles Rustic Lodge

I needed a place to stay for one night in Poplar Bluff. Searching online, all of the usual chain lodging options were available. When Bullwinkle's Rustic Lodge popped up with excellent ratings, I knew I had found my place. Something different! My room was ready on my arrival. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Moose scultpture outside for selfies. I highly recommend a stay with Bullwinkle.

Easy access from US 60. Quick check in. Large room, but a bit of noise from nearby road.

The Lodge is decorated awesome! Easy to get to a smoking place. Clean, Staff is friendly

Quick overnight stay. Comfortable bed. We had every thing we needed. Sweet roll/Cereal breakfast provided. Quiet place off the highway. No restaurants or convenience store close by; plan accordingly. A good value for the money!

Comfortable and quiet, friendly staff. Breakfast was minimal but I think its because the restaurant next door isn’t up and running yet due to the fire earlier this year.

Everything was great, other than the empty 6 pack of beer and margarita mix left in the room😳 Party room????

Showed up around midnight and the lobby was closed called the emergency number that was posted on the door was told room key was under the door mat. Checked no key had to wait 20 minutes for someone to show up and get us a key. Trash under the bed. Had to get up at 5:30 am. No coffee cups in the room. Go to lobby to get coffee Closed

Room was upstairs with no elevator. Arrived after dark and lightning was burned out and dark on stairs. Trash beside toilet on floor, stool dirty, crumbs on night stand. Only chair had huge stains. I asked if I could change rooms and was told no. I tried to get my money back but room was non refundable. Felt parking was unsafe.

Room was large, very clean. We would stay there again!
