I booked a room a the Caracas hotel in error instead of the Maiquetia hotel. Attempts to cancel booking through Expedia and Eurobuilding was futile. I eventually had to pay for the night at Maiquetia. Service at Maiquetia was great. Room seemed clean, check in an check out were both a breeze. Staff were cordial even though very few of them that I interacted with spoke English, I guess this is to be expected. We both knew enough of the opposite languages to "communicate".
