Craigellachie Lodge

A lovely hotel in a beautiful part of the world. We stayed in the Telford room which was roomy and very clean. The hotel is a characterful Victorian house that has been tastefully and sympathetically modernised. Scott and his team were very welcoming which added to our experience. Breakfasts were hearty and tasty. Tried a few drams from Scott’s collection and picked up a few tips and suggestions! We will be back in the future.

Great service. We checked in a little late due to our arrival time, nothing was too much trouble and very close to local amenities. Will defo stay again!!

We had a wonderful stay here. The hosts were amazingly friendly. There were lots of measures in place to make you feel safe while still having a lovely stay. The room was superb and the bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was also really good. The whole place was lovely, with beautiful gardens which guests can enjoy. Would definitely stay again.

We booked in to the Telford King room which we found clean, airy. The room was well decorated with a comfy bed and clean bedding. Water and a coffee machine were provided in the room along with DAB radio and WI-FI. The building itself is situated away from the road in nice secluded peaceful gardens. Our hosts were lovely and took the time to find us somewhere nice for dinner in nearby Rothes while we went for a walk in Aberlour. This was much appreciated as the whole of Aberlour was fully booked and we were in the mood for some fine dining. We both had the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon breakfast and a cafetière of coffee which were excellent.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, perfect location for The Macallan. Breakfast was tasty and service was fantastic. Would definitely recommend

I only stayed one night but everything that they did, they did perfectly. The room was comfortable, the rest of the building was in perfect condition and felt homely. They even contacted me before my stay to ask about my preference of room. The breakfast was generous and cooked to perfection.

The property manager was very friendly and welcoming. The house is beautiful and extremely convenient to all the Speyside activities, distilleries, and roadways. We missed the entrance as it's quite difficult to see from the main road, but this can easily be remedied with a proper Google Maps update.

The property has a lovely garden and you can walk to the hotels and pubs. Beth looked after us really well. Breakfast is nice and is ordered the night before. Our room was really large with a nice view on to the garden and fields. Amenities include coffee maker and hair straighteners. The bathroom could do with some updating but it was more then adequate and was also a large room.

Located in a beautiful setting the room was very comfirtable and had good amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great.
