"Honesty Goes A long Way - No time for con-games"

The restaurant is the best thing about this location. Women working in the restaurant were a delight and very helpful especially with the kids. They made sure our table was ready for every meal and were very friendly. I can't remember their bosses name but he too was a delight. The staff at the bar very receptive to the kids as they tried new drinks while creating memories. Thank you meal staff. You v=went above and beyond duty.

I arrived on time at the airport, I arranged my transportation directly with the hotel. I had to email, then call to find out where is the driver. He showed up half hour late. Get to the hotel and the check-in staff was moving EXTRA slow processing the check-in. Now I had fraud protection alert on my Card so I had to call the bank to release the funds, no issue. I was a party of 8 adults & 5 kids. Once the card was fine, still no pace to get us out of the lobby. One of the manager suggest the rest of the group go have a drink while they finish up. We said no, keys please. They again suggested drinks, which we again declined. Someone in my party said out loud they're taking long because the rooms are not ready. I blurred over it because I made these resv over a month ago, I called 3 times to insure accuracy and emailed several times. First set of keys were given, only to get upstairs and only 2 of the 4 rooms we requested and paid in full was not ready. Cleaning staff was in the room now cleaning at 4pm in the afternoon. We are now standing in the hall waiting with the SAME manager from the check-in desk. When I do business I handle my affairs on all aspects. This was piss-poor service I even went back to the desk and said to the young lady, if the rooms were not ready why not just come out and say so, you dragged out the check=in process, your manager ran off to hurry staff and we still caught you all in the deceit. Her only response, I looked at the screen wrong, it was my mistake, not even I'm SORRY! I also noted on my request a late check-out which was responded to a month ago as no issue. The day of check-out, ISSUE! They tried to tell me $120 per room for late check-out. I said NO. If that was the case, a month ago you should've told me that and I was standing in the hall waiting on cleaning staff to clean rooms while you tried to stall me downstairs. They granted the request. The hotel is understaffed and I would not spend my money there again.

"April 2025"

We were a arty of 2 couples, rooms 512 and 506. The rooms were very large, plenty of storage space, cleaned by a lovely lady every day, free safe, clean towels, shampoo provided. The TV has free channels The food in the restaurant was plentiful, something for everyone, staff were lovely. The pool area is always clean, plenty of seating areas and sunbeds. Sean in the bar looked after us. The beach was stunning, beach towels available, deposit refunded at the end if your holiday, free sun beds, free sunbeds and umbrella available, free kayaks and belly boards. The sea is wonderful and warm and soft sand Eddie on the beach is available to take you out on his catameran, well worth the money. Sun a fun outing. We used local transport, the ZR buses, 3.50 per trip amazing value. We did lots of trips out. Beautiful island. We did an Island trip with Dexter, who such a great guide, we had such a fun day, very informative. My only criticism was that the WiFi was very hit and miss unless you were in the bar area. In the rooms it was poor. But overall a wonderful holiday. We will be back Thankyou to all the staff for making our holiday so wonderful

"Just what we needed"

We booked this hotel 2 days before travelling but had read the reviews for a few days before just deciding to go for it. We only stayed for 5 days. It was a perfect spot to wander to the Gap and Oistins. The room was basic but perfect size with a comfy bed. The best was waking up to the ocean view. So many complaints from other reviewers on food but for us it was very good. We loved the fact there were less options as it showed the freshness and they were not preparing unnecessary quantities and then having to recycle the excess into the next meal. They had three kinds of protein and multiple salads and vegetables at each meal. We very much enjoyed the food. The hotel layout is small and easy and was not busy and loud which again we enjoyed. We had zero issues with chairs perhaps a quieter travel time. I think if it was busy it may have felt different. The beach was lovely and walkable. If you are coming in wanting to be waited on and have luxury accommodations don’t stay here. If you want some good fresh meals and some downtime on a budget you won’t be upset.

"Outdated hotel"

The hotel has the potential to be amazing! Right in the white sandy beach and central to Oistins and St Lawrence Gap which are both around 30 minutes walk. Other than the older restaurant ladies (matradee’s) all staff friendly and drinks are plentiful. Rooms are spacious but very dated - that said WiFi was fine and beds comfy. The main let down is the food and restaurant. It’s more of a school Canteen and few options - dinner was the worst so we eat out (so much for all inclusive hey?). On the main fabulous time in Barbados and will visit again. Just not here !

"Been there, done that but no return"

Staff seemed annoyed with anything you try to ask as this was my first visit and unsure of everything. Outside bar staff very attitudinal. I believe the money that I have paid should be much better reception by all staff but they seemed tired, over worked and every day other guests arrive and they couldn't care less. I enjoyed the food and drinks. Room was great although downgraded me to a single king room. Wifi was exceptionally poor and never worked. I would rather try other resorts next time when I return. Resort needs attention on the outside as it looked dilapidated.

"SHOCKINGLY POOR EXPERIENCE"

I would never advise anyone to stay here. my partner and I were extremely excited for this holiday because we were going to be spending a few nights with her family at the hotel. The room was extremely outdated and also a hazard as well as unclean; we were staying on the top floor and the wooden railing outside was shaky and a piece of the structure actually came apart whilst we were there, the showerhead was also covered with limescale. The customer service in general was horrible. Restaurant staff were very miserable and extremely rude and took forever to provide anything, to the point where we would get up and fill our glasses with the tap water ourselves, leaving the food to be exposed to flies. There was a lady grilling burgers at lunch time who shouted at me because I didn't hear what she said. The food on most days in general was not good; with the slow cooked food somehow also being the driest meals (beef brisket, lamb). Breakfast was nice most days. The bar staff were always very welcoming and the entertainment was good. The man in charge of watersports at the hotel was miserable and also seldom at his station; additionally, the hotel was advertising "watersports" but placed a yellow flag up even on calmer days and said you could not use any of the watersport activities (kayaks, paddleboards). On the last day of our stay; when we went to check out, we were informed that THEY had made an error with our booking and I was in fact supposed to pay an additional fee of 55USD. I requested an invoice breakdown and went through the entire transaction and the math made absolutely no sense. They then went on to admit a SECOND mistake in that when they initially charged us for the first night's deposit, they charged that at the INCORRECT rate as well. I had a discussion with the receptionist, who could offer absolutely no help, I even went through the breakdown with her to explain THEIR error, at which point she said "i can only show you what is on the system." After talking to the supervisor, there was no offer of any compensation for THEIR mistakes whatsoever and they demanded I pay the full charge even though they quoted me an entirely different rate prior, in fact, they went so far as to say they would offer us a $20 discount on a meal; it was actually laughable. What I will say is that Shawn, Gabriel, DJ Ron, Desiree, Sandra and Akayla were shining examples of customer service in an otherwise poor environment and I am happy that they are there because they definitely made the experience a bit better. Fortunately we have a lot of family and experience on the island, if we were first timers this would have definitely been a lot worse.

"Stunning"

The hotel and all the premises are perfect for a nice holiday. Nice large rooms, very clean. Good food on buffet and very good food on a-la-carte. Nice bar near swimming pool and nice staff. Live music in the evening and very nice beach. Very good choice for holiday.
