Hotel La Cupula

Clean, comfortable and a great breakfast.

Location was a little far out from centre but easily walkable.

Lovely helpful staff, beautiful rooms with views of the lake. Onsite cafe and restaurant both great. Such a peaceful place to just relax.

Can be cold at night, bed is cosy but some extra blankets would have been nice.

Room 11 had one of the highest vantage points overlooking the port from its lovely balcony in this little enclave of properties on a hill. The spacious room’s entrance was a hatch door and had plenty of windows. I also had a fabulous dinner at the in-house restaurant (tip: make a reservation as it’s popular with everyone who comes to Copacabana)

The wifi connection was inconsistent and weak. I had to keep switching between different networks to get the best connection. Room and bed was very cold at night even with the heater on. What this space needs is a fireplace.

First of all, I have to give 100 points to the staff, they are excellent, the place looks a bit like a fairy tale village, our cabin had jacuzzi and wood fire heater( tha we didn't used), beds are comfortable and the cabin looks a bit like a yert. The breakfast was OK, the only thing that needs to be improved is that the Internet in the cabin was very slow

The view is amazing!!!!!! The room was spacious, bed very comfortable, excellent shower, cute gardens, great food at the restaurant and the staff very, very kind!

If you have any issues with climbing stairs, ask for ground floor rooms (but restaurant is on the second floor)
