Super Friendly and Helpful Staff (English Speaking) - Welcome Drink on first arrival - Simple but nice breakfast provided - No elevator (heart drop) but staff would help transport your luggage to your room - We drove, but if you didn't, the staff can arrange for a pickup from the train station, and for taxi out to the Atami City. 2. Fantastic Apartment (very large and clean) - Super large living room with massage chair and sofa - Small kitchen (more a pantry+) with coffee and tea provided. Water dispenser provides cold and hot water - Utensils and pots provided, but no condiments (ask for soy sauce while the staff are still available, for your sushi and sashimi) - Super large bed room with four beds, complete with bed warmers, a projector screen for movie watching - Super large bath room with shower, bath tub and a private Onsen stone bath. - The photos posted on Booking.com are fairly accurate 3. Jaw-dropping View - View of the Atami Castle with the Sagami Bay as a backdrop, with large floor-to-ceiling windows in the living and dining area. The photos don't do it justice; you have to see for yourself. - Staff took time to describe the sun-rise timing (0630) and where it would arise from (Hatsushima Island) - If you're lucky, you can catch a cloudless sky at night for a stunning view of the Moon over the bay 4. Location - Proximity to Atami City without the hustle and bustle - Springboard to rest of Izu Peninsula such as Kawazu, Izu Shaboten Zoo or Heda for Spider Crabs! (Driving)

1. Driving in - Can be tricky to get to on the first try: turn immediately after the tunnel, leading to a steep drive up the cliff. To park, you need to reverse into parking area from a road on a steep slope. Feel like gold when you park perfectly! - Driving at night can be tricky too as it is pitch dark (few street lights). If you don't see any lights you can assume there are no cars. - Getting in and out of Atami City can be tough if you don't drive. - Please do not walk to the apartment at night as the road can be pitch dark. 2. No elevators - the apartments are on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floor, no wheel chair access.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! The cleanliness was excellent! The views from our room of the Atami Castle was great!

The location is a bit remote, so you need a taxi or a ride to go anywhere.

This place is a hidden gem, the apartment was super comfy and very modern yet traditional, the view is absolutely outstanding of the castle and the staff were very accommodating.

Couldnt fault it
