Shower, no hose

Locatie goed, dicht bij centrum. Ontbijtruimte met prachtig plafond. Mooi victoriaans gebouw, soms wat uitgeleefd.

Geen gerieflijke badkamer, nergens plaats om toiletgerief te plaatsen, alles moest op de grond. De valiezen trouwens ook. Was superwarm, maar geen airco, wel een ventilator

The hotel was actually a little better than I expected, with plenty of charm and a lovely atmosphere throughout. The location was ideal for exploring Harrogate, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

The room did get quite hot, though it was the hottest day of the year, so that likely played a big part. There was also a wedding taking place during my stay — it was a bit noisy at times, but to be fair it was also quite charming to see and added a nice bit of atmosphere. Breakfast was a little hit‑and‑miss, with some items better than others.

Location is excellent, room extremely comfortable, and the staff were first class. Public areas were well maintained, comfortable, and good availability.

Lack of electrical sockets / USB sockets, but having said that, it is an old building and it did not impact much on us.

Love the ambience and space. Libraries, lounges, front lawns to adjourn to. Our room was a good size with spare pillows. Plenty of parking (paid permit).

Lack of barista coffee until 10am. Until then it’s filter coffee only.

Pleasant room

Our room was above a wedding reception which went on with thumping bass music till 00:30 then noisy wedding guests till 01:00 and beyond. Reception not answering telephone.

Reception check in on time, rooms ready. Seating area outside lovely.

On check in breakfast timings told, coming down nxt morning to be told 15.95 extra each,.room was clean but hair in bath, 2 rooms had loads of dust on shelves. Our dog on lead others not others, so kids uncorfortable
