We stayed for two nights in York and had a wonderful experience. The hotel had a lovely, luxurious feel throughout and provided the perfect base for exploring everything the city has to offer. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, making it a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast was particularly impressive, with a beautiful selection of high-quality food to start the day. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the on-site parking, which proved incredibly convenient and made our trip completely stress-free. From the hotel, it was easy to reach all of York's main attractions, making it an ideal location for visitors. Overall, we would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting York. A comfortable, stylish stay in a great location with the added bonus of on-site parking.

The food was lovely, we had booked breakfast each morning, all was very clean and tidy in the restaurant and lounge, staff helpful and friendly. The view from our room was lovely as we could see York minster in the distance. You get your steps in with the very large grand staircase.

Yes its a nice looking hotel, but the price was a bit high, it was not in holiday time so expected it to be a little lower, your also required to pay £22.00 per day parking even as a resident, our mattress unfortunately felt old and we couldn't escape the back ache the following mornings which was such a shame. We could only find one very small lift so you have to wait a while

Breakfast food was good quality Very grand impression as you go in. Very convenient parking When things went wrong, reception staff tried to help and resolve as quickly as possible Spa is a nice facility Comfy bed Fridge and safe very handy

Old, discoloured and damaged blinds in room - I had to pin them up on one side to see out. TV limited to freeview only with no channel guide listings to see what's on. No smart tv features (chromecast etc) so I had to use my own 9" tablet to watch netflix despite having a 50" hd screen in the room. Annoying for a "superior"room! No shaving mirror. No wall holder for hand held shower Waiting staff a bit hit and miss. Some warm and friendly, some stony faced and uncommunicative. Poor choice of beer - no ale on tap in the bar!
