We were warmly welcomed to the hotel and had a great and comfortable stay. The room was comfortable, clean and had all the essentials.

Please note that currently only one elevator is operational - a temporary minor inconvenience. Otherwise everything was great!

"Definitely not going back, far too noisy to get a good night’s sleep! One lift only🫣"

Clean, very pretty hotel, great location

Very very noisy, difficult to sleep with all the noise of people walking the corridors. Doors would slam and make a loud noise! Only one lift working and shared with house staff and luggage porters, unacceptable! Tiny bathroom, uncomfortable beds🤷🏻‍♂️

"Poor Breakfast"

Stayed for that big birthday! The Milner is a lovely hotel steeped in history. The atmosphere totally in keeping with when it was built with so many original features. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The evening meal in the Peachey Bar was lovely although the set menu as part of the dinner, bed and package was small compared to similar hotels. However the disappointment was with the breakfast, whilst I don’t mind buffet style, a 4 star hotel serving instant coffee was not what I expected, and it wasn’t even a party good coffee. I would expect a coffee machine with a choice of coffee in a 4 star hotel.
