The Milner York

Gorgeous Hotel right by the Station, in the centre of York. Parking was easy and plentiful. We enjoyed Afternoon Tea in the stunning Lounge- could have sat there all day. Our bedroom was spotless. Every team member was warm and friendly- will definitely be back! Thank you team Milner x

Would have liked more menu choices in the dining areas. Room was nice, but a little dated.

We loved the fact that the building was so old and full of character.

The main building itself was full of character and charm. However, our room was located in an annex building, which felt rather plain and lacked the character of the original property. As a result, we felt somewhat misled, as the accommodation did not match the impression we had formed from the hotel's presentation.

We stayed here for my birthday and anniversary weekend . It is a very beautiful hotel great decor and staff are very attentive. But we did have a few problems first of all my husband had booked a room that was ment to have a great view, it would have been but there was scaffolding right in front of our window. (Now I know work needs to be done but let the guests know and lower the cost of the room), we were moved to another room to the find out it had a significant water leak. By this point I was getting a bit annoyed. We went to reception and the matter was dealt with effectively. But this shouldn't be happening in rooms that are being used. Breakfast was flavoursome and hot with a good selection. On the whole would I stay here again yes I would but a bit more care needs in the rooms .

Stayed here last weekend, for a 4 star hotel we were happy with price we paid and it was well worth it, everywhere was spotless, grand, so much to look at, all staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful, the leisure facilities were lovely, the atmosphere was friendly, welcoming and we found plenty of places to sit, the room and bathroom was beautiful even the complimentary shower gels, shampoos were quality and we have even purchased some we liked them so much, breakfast was lovely and we ate in the peaches in the evening, the staff were friendly and very attentive, it was the best meal iv had in a long time in a beautiful atmosphere, very spacious, there were a few weddings on but we never felt this affected us, would definitely stay again, the location is perfect. Thank you all for a fantastic stay.

Our daughter’s wedding was held at the Milner . The staff in all areas were brilliant . The wedding organisers and the team did not disappoint , every aspect of the carefully coordinated day went effortless . Highly recommend the hotel for a stay and a place for celebrations . Thankyou
