Overall, a really nice stay. We had a few technical issues in our room which were swiftly resolved by staff. We would have liked to know more about the swimming pool as that is included but felt there wasn't much information regarding this. Had a couple of drinks in the Swollen Gambler, which was lovely but expensive. Would return again.

The room was nice, the staff were friendly ,the breakfast was appalling very cold and not a nice dining experience with no fresh tea served at the table just a warm flask ,location was spot on, the situation with the lift was not very good .if the staff are going to use it for there cleaning trolley it would be a good idea to put a seat there so the disabled can site down why they Waite the 5/10 minutes it take to get a lift to your room. The biscuit in the room were 6 months out of date.

Very elegant with some wonderful original features if you looked hard enough

Lack of lifts and gym/pool area was very busy due to external club members. Service in the restaurant was slow at dinner times
