The Milner York

The location, the breakfast, the shower.

Roadworks working overnight outside. I didn’t get to sleep until 0530. I have stayed in the hotel on numerous occasions from it being the Railway Hotel, The Royal York, The Principal and now The Milner. I know I booked a comfort room but it was the size of my walk in wardrobe. It was not comfortable and the noise outside made matters worse.

The location was great The staff were friendly

Room was dated, out of the way and the worst pillows! The bathroom is tired and needs updating. The corridor from the bottom of the lift to the gardens had a not very nice smell to them

Nice shared spaces and polite service

Over priced, a bit dated and didn’t feel all that clean

breakfast, The main bar. 24 hour parking £20

small room with a far to big clothes cabinet, made the room feel smaller. Ordered porridge for my wife agreed to wait 10 mins. Asked 10 and 20 minutes later and was told it will be here in a few minutes. We left without the porridge

Actually, the room is in the basement, no light, with a wall less than 2 meters from the window and scaffolding on the other side... the bathroom needs a fresh coat of paint.
