The location was great. Loved the style of the hotel was a beautiful hotel

Nothing.! Other than the noise from the road works but that’s not the hotels fault.

Location was terrific. Everything was great wigh the exception of the breakfast area

The coffee wasn't labelled, people kept trying to make tea from the urn and then just abandoned the dirty used cups. No plates beside toaster. Only one toaster which caused delays.

Staff were helpful and friendly. General areas were nice

The room was not what we expected and did not match what was shown on Booking.com. It was drab, carpets looked and felt like they were dirty, furnishing were poor and disjointed. The breakfast on the 1st morning of our stay was a disaster, there was no table service even to get a cup of coffee, I had to queue to get a cup of coffee. The place was overcrowded and very uncomfortable. There needs to be less tables and better service.

Great central location close to the station. Classy decor and comfortable clean rooms.

Construction noise outside until late at night. Obviously can’t be controlled by the hotel but not very sound proof.

The building itself retains its grandeur as do the public rooms on the ground floor, the staircase etc. It’s obvious why this is a favoured location for weddings and conferences. The staff throughout the hotel were all pleasant and very helpful.

The bedroom was disappointingly small. There was hardly enough space for the normal items eg the fridge and tea/coffee making tray including kettle were all inside the wardrobe. The only place to sit was on the bed itself or a low stool stored under the dressing table which doubled as the bedside table.

We have stayed at the Milner before and it’s a beautiful hotel , I can’t fault the staff or lounges, bar or restaurant.

The bed room was so disappointing, it was so tired and shabby, they changed rooms for us to a slightly bigger room but still was so tired , beautiful chairs with stains all over , the furniture was so tired, for the cost of our stay I was so disappointed .This was a stay for my friends 60th birthday so I really wanted it to be special. We stayed before at the front of the hotel and the room was beautiful.
