Residence Inn Minneapolis Maple Grove/Arbor Lakes

My family stayed at the Residence Inn in Maple Grove for a family weekend--a stay-cation where we could enjoy a nice dinner out and then an evening of games and movies. The rooms were large and comfortable, perfect for the whole family to gather in. The in-room kitchen had many amenities and was great for our purpose. We loved the room. Additionally, the continental breakfast provided was substantial, well-maintained and offered in a very nice dining area. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

I booked a one night stay at this Residence Inn due to some contractor work at my home. I'm local, but based on this stay, I have already booked a full week for family who will be visiting this Christmas. The plan was for an electronic key but due to an old credit card in my profile, I had to stop by the front desk. I'm glad I did because it provided an opportunity to talk with a member of the staff who gave a great first impression of the hotel. What a great ambassador. Due to the short stay I didn't take advantage of the pool or workout facilities. Instead, I enjoyed the room itself and a great night's sleep. The location is in the middle of extensive shopping and a large selection of restaurants. And if you've watched Cupcake Wars on Food Network, you can pick up the award winning cupcake at Nadia's Cakes (my favorite!). As for the room, I stayed in a King studio which had the typical offerings of a Residence Inn room but updated. The WiFi was speedy. The TV had streaming options. The shower had great water pressure. The bed was comfy. And most importantly, I slept so well.
