Residence Inn Minneapolis Maple Grove/Arbor Lakes

Clean hotel, clean sheets and furnishings, friendly staff. This is an over $100/night hotel for the area, but worth it. Everything is close by. Many restaurants, Costco, shopping, etc. Had a King Suite with lots of room and everything you need to warm up or prepare a meal.

We were looking for a pet friendly place to stay that was not full of pet hair, smells etc.. as we were trying to get home and a blizzard struck. This place was excellent. Very clean, well sanitized, extremely helpful staff. I would highly recommend this facility.

If you want a peaceful stay here, join the party. Because the night staff won’t care to do anything. (Especially at 3am, kinda when guests want to sleep) Just a note to management, smelling pot and hearing loud guests all night long, and refusing to do anything probably is not good for business. Never have written (or experience) a stay (life long platinum customer) at a Marriott. Not recommend.

It was perfect..... I was able to get a room right by the elevator (Mother is handicap & elderly) I understand the suites are great but the walk is too long.... I rather be elevator and y'all did awesome

We had a nice stay for my daughter’s birthday weekend. Friendly and helpful staff.

The room was great, really clean but the hallways and doors were not. There was dog hair everywhere and smudges all over the doors. One would think during a pandemic they would make sure to be EXTRA clean. There was also a lot of people just loitering in the parking lot. Not sure what that was all about.

Because of Covid 19 it was a little awkward. The hotel does not clean rooms at all. If you want toilet paper or clean sheets you had to go to front desk and ask for them and change sheets yourself. If you wanted your room vacuumed you have to do it. Nice hotel and under normal circumstances I’m sure it would be awesome.

Man what can I say. The bed is huge. The TV is enormous! Small kitchen with everything you need. I loved this place!

Check in : Observed 6FT COVID-19 distancing A+. Sanitizing station almost every high traffic area’s. Room Kitchen: Washer was not unloaded. I assumed that it was dirty, so I ran a load to make sure. some appliances on the counter and not put away. (Wonder if they cleaned?) so I washed that before we used it. Hide-a-Bed: room did not have bed set + pillow in room ready to go. So we called the front desk and they promptly brought it up to the room. Bath room: did not have sufficient toiletries to last 24 hrs. So we had to call the front for more items as well. Breakfast: bag & take continental breakfast was boiled eggs, fruit fruit cup, muffins, yogurt, bagels & cream cheese, muffins etc. Simple and fast nothing fancy, but doable for everyone. My Guest suggestions: with COVID in mind: Call ahead of time to make sure that you have the room set up for your entire stay. Ask for extra towels, toiletries, coffee pods, popcorn before your arrive or have a list ready to give to the front desk to have them bring them all up. Hotel Suggestions: Make sure that house keeping does a “ double check “ in the kitchen & linens for the hide a bed. Overall A Room : 1 bedroom Suite/2 Queen bed (Hide-A-Bed) Sleeps 5-6 people Hotel surrounding: there is construction going on off the property so depending what side your on, you will start hearing noises at 8-9am if your a light sleeper. But it’s not too bad.
