The hosts are a very nice and helpful couple. The room was very clean with AC. You can rent a bike in the stay to quickly reach the center of Puerto Viejo

Humberto and Katya are the owners of a fabulous little hotel. They were helpful with ideas of where to eat and how to get a tuk tuk etc. They were so friendly and I felt safe there which is important when I travel alone. The tooms are simple and comfortable with WiFi, AC and tv.

Clean, comfortable, quiet and well positioned.

Genuinely can't think of anything.

A clean and nicely kept place located just north of Puerto Viejo de Talamanca 800 m from the amazing black beach. There is a bus stop on the main road halfways to Puerto Viejo but if you travel first time with bus it is easier to jump off in Puerto Viejo and (if you have luggage) to take a taxi or a tuk-tuk which is cheap. The hosts, Umberto and Katie, have No limits in their hospitality and speak excellent english. The bathroom was heated and thus wet clothes and towels dried up which is not always the case in Costa Rica as we noticed. Some of the equipment in the common, outdoor kitchen could benefit from replacement.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Allowed a late check out. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Would stay again

Hotel is hard to find on google maps. Suggest using Villa Allen as a reference as is 200 metres from there.

He ido en dos ocasiones y se notan las mejoras a las instalaciones ya cuentan con aire acondicionado, se están construyendo más cabinas y tienen muchos otro proyectos para mejorar la estancia, la atención y amabilidad son excelentes 👌
