Sunset Condominiums

The room temp was 80 when we arrived, no switch to AC from heat.

It was a very charming area and the condo was clean with a great patio. The condo is a little dated which was okay, but the bathroom does need some updating and the patio windows have lost their seal.

It was a lot of bugs on the ceiling, bed skirt is dirty, fan on ceiling almost fall off when you turn it on,this place could be awesome if someone give some love to it .

Nice place to stay with a beautiful view off our deck. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The detailed information about luggage and the amount of help we received for everything we needed was great. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

The neighbours were very loud, kept me awake.

Condos were supposedly recently updated but seem dated unfortunately. Also paper thin walls. Staff were nice enough. There is no A/C. Can open the windows but our unit was ground level so didn’t feel safe leaving them open all night, and can smell cigarette smoke. Prob would not stay here again. It is cheaper than other places on the island though.

Loved the quiet location. A little older but great price

supposedly we were to be met at the dock by a representative ..... no one showed up .... we were supposed to be sent a message text with lock code and info, the message arrived way after we had arrived, and the code turned out to be incorrect .... however, we lucked upon a nice man who helped us and gave us a different code to get in .... the next day when we came back from downtown the door to the room was unlocked and open, nothing was taken .... no locks on the insides of the doors ..... no heat, no A/C .... TV went out and did not come back on until the next day when we were leaving ..... horribly inconvenient location ..... would not stay there again .....

great room

This is the cheapest place I found on Mackinac Island. It was half to way less than half of any other place on the island. The Grand Hotel is over $1000 per night. The catch? It’s 2 miles uphill from the boat docks. And I mean uphill. My wife took the shuttle and the horses had to rest twice going uphill. I had my bike and had to walk it twice. If you bring a bike you have to walk it or ride it on the island. The shuttles and taxis will NOT haul your bike. The place itself was good enough. A couple light switches and locks didn’t work and no A/C. But for the price it was a good deal. And it’s right next to the Inn at Stonecliff which has several restaurants and a general store.
