Sunset Condominiums

Location was lovely. You are nestled in the woods away from the crowds. The grounds are very peaceful and well maintained. You are situated next to an upscale resort (not affiliated) with a gorgeous view from the restaurant. The other restaurant nearby, The Woods, is also high end dining experience. The condo itself was decent sized and fairly well equipped for basic cooking. I was only surprised that there was no salt/pepper or cooking oil provided in the unit. One thing to note is that there is absolutely no noise insulation between units. You will hear your neighbors, including their pets, as if they are sharing your room. We ran a fan for background noise whenever we were home. After 10pm, everyone did seem to quiet down. We were on the first floor and luckily no one was above us during our stay. Also note that you will need to have a bicycle. We loved being outside of the “downtown” area but without a bike you will have to rely on the shuttle or a taxi which will limit your ability to get around. But if you’re up for being in off the beaten path then this location was great. There are so many great trails and paths to explore and it’s a 10 minute bike ride (down a fairly steep path) to the beach.

Property is dirty

This is a place to sleep and nothing more. We booked for 3 adults and the idea that the sofa bed was okay for an adult is laughable. 3rd person ended up sleeping on the floor. The location was a little remote but we didn't mind taking the horse drawn taxis. Walking was 30 min to town. There is no AC and the screen door had large rips in it. There is no office - so no place to get help. I don't know what the pictures are from but they had little resemblence to our space. Very expensive for a single hot room to sleep in w an aweful sofabed. I know the whole island is high priced but we were dissappointed.

We loved the scenic property and easy access to the shuttle. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our only regret was our neighbors were loud and the father used foul language toward his children. We had to turn on the tv to drown out the noise.

I had a comfortable stay for a great price.

Property clean and staff helpful. Room run down and walls were paper thin. Could hear neighbors conversations.

Great place to stay. We will be back!

Expensive but allowed dogs in less fancy unit.
