Hyatt Place Bakersfield

The location served our purpose as it was just for an overnight stay on our way to Las Vegas, and the person checking us in at night was very friendly. The staff in the morning, particularly the person working the breakfast area, was very unkind however - I observed her being rude to a number of guests. The rooms very tidy and nice, the mattresses a bit too soft for our taste. Breakfast was included but not very good. They also charge parking - it's just $10 but it seems odd for a location in the middle of nowhere. I expect to pay parking in a place like Anaheim near Disneyland or Las Vegas, but Bakersfield?

Some staff was very rude, and the parking fee is a bit of an annoyance.

The rooms were large and clean. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well! The bartender Q, was so fun and friendly and makes great drinks. The continental breakfast was great!

Nothing to complain about except that there were no pool towels out when we went to swim.

Great staff! Clean, comfortable bed, good location, good amenities, good size TV.

Had to prop bathroom door open. Didn’t like the eggs at breakfast.

I liked everything about this hotel. I do wanna mention that the front desk overnight lady from my first night was amazing.
