I recently stayed at Tru By Hilton Denver Downtown Convention Center and overall had a positive experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and very well maintained. My room was clean and comfortable, and everything felt fresh and thoughtfully designed. One standout was the continental breakfast. It was outstanding with a great variety of options and a well-organized setup. That said, there were a couple of drawbacks. Ice buckets were not provided in the rooms. When I requested one, it took over an hour to receive, as it appears both the front desk and housekeeping were understaffed. Additionally, while I appreciate the eco-friendly squeeze bottles for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion, they were difficult to use, particularly for someone like me with arthritis. Overall, it’s a lovely hotel, but a few operational and accessibility improvements would make the stay even better.
